Not So Dirty 30.

I am not sure why everyone says "Dirty 30,"  mine was anything but that.  My family and friends planned such a fabulous day for me, and I am so thankful to have such amazing people in my life.  We woke up Saturday morning, and all the important women in my life met at a salon for mani/pedis.  After being pampered we went to brunch at Germantown Cafe, if you are in Nashville this a must for brunch.  The menu is amazing, and the mimosas were fantastic.  After brunch everyone went their separate ways, we relaxed for a bit, and then it was time to get dolled up for our big night out.  I told everyone I just wanted to go out dancing for my birthday, I didn't care where, but that was my only request.  Everyone met over at my best friend Megan's for drinks and appetizers before we went out.  They did such a good job with everything, and it was perfect.  We went out downtown, and had a blast!  We had pretty much a whole bar to ourselves and the music was great!  I danced the night away with my closest friends and family.  I am so blessed to have all of these people in my life, and I felt so special on my birthday.  Everyone always talks about being depressed on their birthday, but I didn't feel that at all.  I feel so blessed to have an amazing Husband, and little boy I couldn't ask for more.  To me age has always been a state of mind, I don't feel a day over 25.....until I go out. Life has definitely changed, but for the better.  I am blessed with such an amazing family and group of friends, I don't mind getting older.

If you look at the balloons behind Jill, they all had cards attached to them.  The cards had "memories" all my friends has wrote on them.  It was one of the sweetest things I have ever seen.  There were funny memories.,and some that made me cry.   I cannot thank everyone enough for being there to celebrate with me.
