I have been struggling trying to find a balance with working out lately. I can no longer use the "just had a baby" excuse, nor do I want to. I love to work out, and I have got to shed this baby weight, but I have a really hard time working it into my schedule. I have time time, desire, and plenty of people do babysit, I just don't want to leave Hudson in order to do so. I feel like my time is so limited with him in the afternoon, the last thing I want to do is pick him up just to drop him off with Luke or his mom to go to the gym. The easy solution would be to buy a cardio machine of some sort for the house, however that is not in the budget. I know when it gets warmer I can take him on walks, but that does not solve the need to workout now. I feel like I am throwing myself a pity party, but this is a legitimate problem I am having. I would love to hear from other moms that may have had the same problem, and what advice you would give, other than stop complaining and get my butt to the gym. I hope everyone is having a great week!
We are still working on sleep training, he still screams his head off, and ends up in our bed. I was really excited I got him down last night......he woke up 15 minutes later.
I know this doesn't help, but I am STILL struggling with the balance thing. I do think as Hudson gets older, things will get easier and you'll have more time for yourself. Here recently, I have felt like I might be getting closer to the Cami I was before I was a mom. I think it just takes time.
