I have to admit St. Patrick's Day is one of my all time favorite holidays. I love the colors, it is usually getting warm, and who doesn't love green beer? We decided to have our third progressive dinner the Saturday before to celebrate the holiday. These things are an absolute blast, insert a Harlem shake video, and more guests, this may have been the best yet. We all clearly know how to have a good time, and never take ourselves too serious. My sister and I hosted dessert this time, and I have to give Ashley all the credit. I had a wisdom tooth taken out a few days before, so I was of no help. Not to mention I hate baking. Love to cook, hate to bake. Everything is too precise. Our dish turned out so cute! I wish I could give an opinion on how it tasted, but I never even took a bite of it. I didn't really get to enjoy the food as much at this one, because I was still on soft foods. Which is why I only have pictures of our dish. Here is the menu for the night. Appetizers: scotch eggs, rainbow fruit skewers, and asparagus wrapped in crescent rolls. Main Dish: Corn beef, cabbage, potatoes, and carrots. Dessert: mint brownie trifle.

The ladies drink at the first stop was a Midori mimosa.

A little liquid courage is a must.
We had so much fun with this, I cannot wait for our next dinner for Cinco De Mayo. I have already started browsing the Internet for fun dishes.
I am slowly but surely going to get my blog up to date. Stay tuned for my 30th birthday post!
